Leaning bird bath fountain - Alphine bird bath fountain. Motor works great. Have it on a timer. Not to run all night. Problem is that it leans over water runs out. Tried everything tape to rocks to hold upright. I have rocks holding but not doing a great job.
Love this - Me and the birds and hornets love this! It was easy to assemble and hook up. My only complaint is the lower bowl is too deep and slippery for the birds to take a bath. I’ve put small rocks in that bowl to help. So far the pump has worked great and put out the right amount of water for me and turns off if the water runs low.
Stressful, but a nice addition to my backyard to enjoy the birds! - I think this will be a nice addition to my backyard but there is a gash in the fish so water comes out of two holes. I contacted customer service and they sent a whole new bird bath! I was only expecting another fish. It’s been a little tedious to set up and balance to my liking; I’m constantly putting bark under the base so it will be straight. Because of evaporation (I guess?), I have to fill it a few times a day. Despite its quirks and hassles, and it stressing me out, it has provided a lot of entertainment and enjoyment for me watching the birds use it. It’s the only bird bath I could afford.
Keep looking, useless - Not good. This fountain is built WAY too lightly. As you can see in the photo it impossible to get it to sit level. The base is so poorly designed, it’s way too light to support the fountain with water in it. Now I’m a handy guy and there is no fixing it. So keep moving. Don’t waste your money. A good idea very poorly executed.
Great for the price - Its a nice size for balconies, easy to install, and considering the price its totally worth it, alpine fountains last years if you clean them often and keep them clean.
A wonderful product and awesome price!! - Works really well!! The appearance is great. It looks real expensive because of the material, unless you grab it or touch it you’d never guess it’s plastic. It gives a very cozy homey feeling to my little patio.
Defective - Buyer beware: this is plastic, cannot be left out in full sun, cannot be left out in the cold. I purchased honking it was like my old metal one. Not hardly. It was difficult to get pump into accurate spot before hex bolt tighten and then 3 small screws in place. About 20 minutes to put together. Looks cut in garden, immediately worked, except one small problem, fish at very top has two holes so water came out the side of fish instead of top. Pictures enclosed. Amazon wanted me to contact manufacturers for solution. I didn’t purchase from manufacturer. I purchased from Amazon. It is now back in box on front porch waiting for ups pickup and full refund, to my card not freaking Amazon gift card. We will see.
Doesn’t sit evenly and included pump is useless - Don’t even think about buying this. Pain in the butt to put together and half the pieces needed to be scraped with a knife just to get the water tube through it. Once I filled it up with water to test, the pump barely pushed water out and because it doesn’t sit evenly, water just trickles off one side. Yes I even tried adjusting the pump and taking it apart/putting back together. The pump included is a POS and should be higher rated GPH for the height it’s trying to raise water to. For over $40 this was a waste of my time and money. Alpine Corp should contact the Sicce pump manufacturer and work a deal out so I can actually have a nice working fountain with a pump that’s quality made. For now this is just another UPS return
Get what you pay for - It stopped working first day. Pump quit working. Got it to start again. And stoped again. Can’t keep plugged in. Disappointed. Looks nice. Light weight. Water flow zip. Pump quit.
Excellent bird oasis - Received this from Amazon missing 2 of the 3 tiers. Contacted the friendly and instantly responsive customer service team at Alpine Corporation, who shipped me a replacement FedEx next day. Absolutely the best and easiest experience with a return/replacement ever! As for the thing itself, see the photos. Birds were landing on it before I finished filling with water. Perfect height, the wild turkeys enjoy it too. Pump works perfectly, remember to watch the water level and top off. Highly recommended!
Great Customer Service - After 10 months, my water fountain stopped working. I discovered that the pump had failed. I contacted Alpine Corporation since I had 2 more months on my warranty. I spoke to a very nice lady, Karen, who reassured me that Alpine would make everything right and to my satisfaction. Since the pump was not in stock, Karen informed me that a completely new water fountain would be mailed out. All I had to do was supply my address and a picture of the water fountain. Within 5 days, UPS delivered a new water fountain to my door…That folks, in this day and age, is how “customer service” should be done! Great work Karen, you’re awesome and Alpine should be proud of staff members like you! Thank you.
Residue and flaking plastic - It's a cute fountain but it's difficult to keep it from looking this way. Small black plastic particles keep shedding from it too.
Fountain worth the daily effort... - We'd had this plastic fountain for a few months. It's a refreshing addition to our garden. YET should be seated on a solid base and "tied-down" so a strong wind or a larger bird like an owl can't tip it over. I've put ours on a timer. CLEAN water Must always be full in the base for the fountain run without failure & safety for birds.
This fountain is AWESOME!! - This is SO much better than I thought it was going to be! I absolutely LOVE it - the birds absolutely LOVE it!! Especailly with this heat...I have it outside my slider on the front porch - I love hearing the bubbling water sounds - it's awesome!
A+ - Super product
This Fountain works exactly as promised… - I just got this Bird Bath / Water Fountain. It was very easy to assemble and the ground stakes really do the job securing it to the ground. I set the pump to medium and it’s flowing Perfectly! Great addition to garden and the Birds are gonna be Very Happy! Great Buy at a Great price!
Sound of the water trickling is so relaxing - Putting the pumpkin and lining it up, can be a little challenging, but definitely worth it
Doesn't last very long and customer service is not professional... - I purchased this cute fountain just over 1 month month ago and the pump stopped working completely! I took good care of the fountain and kept water in it at all times and kept it clean. I enjoyed watching the birds visit and have a great time bathing... Because it quit working 3 days after the return window closed I can't return for a new one. I'm stuck with a fountain that doesn't work! No enjoyment from that!!! Poor customer service...
Great lil bird bath - I like it alot'!! And so do the birds!!! Little ones perch in the water while the others use the liwer decks!!! Fun to watch!!
Cute little fountain - This very inexpensive birdbath fountain has given me such joy. It runs great, sounds and looks beautiful. I live in a windy area so I do add one pitcher of water every day. Have it on a time from 9am to 7pm. I absolutely love it.
Beware - Cheaply made, not sturdy! Works well if level but hard to keep level! Would not buy again! Definitely get what you pay for! My bad!
Durable - Spills a lot and you cannot keep it running all day because all the water spills out of the fountain and if you dont pay attention the pump will be running/working without water
Pump worked for 2 months - This pump didn’t last 2 months and the way it’s designed you can’t replace it. Very upsetting 👎🏽
Alpine provides unsatisfactory customer service. - I've had the product operational for 2 weeks. The product itself is satisfactory. You get what you pay for, but hopefully the pump doesn't burn out when it goes outside in the garden. For now it's on a screened porch. It looks fine and provides a lovely water sound, however, it came with a part broken in two places which effects the flow of water. I have called Alpine 5 times and sent 4 emails as they direct, however, I received one call back, which i missed. All I want is a replacement part, otherwise, i have to box up the entire product to ship back to Amazon. Alpines customer service is horrible which is disappointing because I believe they are based in the U.S. I would advise paying more for a product with better customer service.
No Passport Required - Watch the " how-to assemble " online videos for more accurate assembly info . Do NOT assemble the base until you've threaded the pump line through it , oops. Be patient while attaching pump to pump house. Once you've completed assembly and added water , the effect is so soothing and lovely . No , it's not the Trevi Fountain , but it's adorable !
Do not buy - Very wobbly and the pump runs hot and melted, water get splashed out and not worth it. No replacement pump
Not worth purchasing - Please read all reviews first! The pump did not adjust to a lower flow causing the water to come out faster. The problem is the bottom bowl is not deep enough so the next day all the water is gone. Hard too balance fountain and pump hardware is permanently in base you can not replace the pump if it breaks. Looks nice just not functional
Cheap made - Very unhappy with this we had to make everything fit better holes to small it dose not have the power to get water to flow very well
Okay - Water fountain did work
Parts don’t fit together - Holes were not wide enough for ensembly poor quality
Poor quality pump - Pump worked for a day. I tried the trouble shooting on the website, but the pump just died.
Poor quality - Poor quality, the fish causes water to spill out and constantly needs refilled with water.
Does not last. Flimsy. Poor looks. Got a good one from Lowes. 3xcost. 20 times better. - Flimsy waste of money.
Good fountain on a budget. - This was such a great little fountain I had on the patio, was super easy to put together gave just the right sound of water splashing. Made with great materials that last being out in the sun all day. The birds sure do love playing in it. This was a fantastic little fountain I had on my patio. It was incredibly easy to assemble and provided the perfect sound of water splashing. The fountain was made with high-quality materials that could withstand the sun’s rays throughout the day. The birds absolutely adore playing in it.
Bird paradise - It’s been over a year and this bird bath is still up and working sometimes it’s hard to level if you have an uneven yard but easy to clean and take apart and put together you can take apart and clean the pump if not working properly and it’ll work perfectly after it holds lots of water also
Wouldn’t Recommend - You get what you pay for. This is flimsy and cheap.
3 tier fish lips fountain - I have recommended this fountain to hundreds of people. The hummingbirds love it. Alpine products are always great.
Parts missing - The fish is missing it said used not for parts & it's a fishlips fountain
An attractive addition to my garden - I wanted a fountain for my garden. Put the bowl, (without pedestal), on a 10 gal, rope handled tub to provide more stable support. Glued window screen over water pump grate to keep out debris. I had some issues modulating the pump flow to prevent water from splashing out of the bowl. Still need to refill it, at least daily, because of water loss due to splash and evaporation, but it is an attractive addition to the garden. It does need to be disassembled and cleaned, especially in the hot weather, as mold grows in the warm water.
Birds love it!! - I was skeptical when we bought this as it is all plastic. However, it has worked fine all summer without any problems. The birds are absolutely crazy for this particular fountain. They love standing under the water trickle. We’ve had several fountains of much higher prices, but this has been the best attractant for the birds!
