Maintenance is easy, simply follow the care instructions provided with your fountain to keep it in great condition. General tips: 1. Make sure your fountain always has enough water at the bottom. 2. Check the level of the fountain. Running a pump without sufficient water can damage the pump. 3. The fountains should be cleaned once every few days.

The pump is separate from the fountain and it is replaceable. It is generic, so the pump you wish to replace after a few years, you can also get other models of the pump.
