Beautiful but…. - It’s a beautiful bird bath and easy to put together but the birds on the edge of the bowl are already starting to rust and I’ve only had it for 3 weeks!

Beautiful and easy to assemble. - I just love this birdbath. It was easy to assemble and I love the way it looks in my little corner of the backyard patio surrounded by flowers.

Beautiful!! - I love this bird bath! I did spray the entire bird bath with the recommended acrylic spray to protect it from rust and the weather. So far it has made it through a beautiful summer and several snow storms and it still looks great! I bought an electric fountain pump from Amazon and it works perfect with my bird bath. I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful, but began rusting within a month - I love the look of this birdbath, and so do the birds! Pros: the deer can knock it over and it won't break, it's very sturdy & beautiful Cons: it rusted almost immediately. Just took this pic at 2 months. :( I just found many reviews saying the same thing. One said, "I contacted Alpine's customer service department and complained. To their credit they were helpful and responsive about it. They ended up sending to me free of charge a can of clear preservative spray (normally $11). I bought a rust remover and some fine sandpaper to try to remove most of the rust prior to using the acrylic spray." So maybe I'll reach out to them as well. I love the birdbath, but it won't be long for this world w/o immediate intervention.

(be sure to seal as recommended in the instructions) Absolutely lovely birdbath that would fit into any garden theme. It has stayed erect with the heavy winds and rains from recent storms. There is no peeling or rusting. I did seal the birdbath with two coats of the type of sealant recommended by the manufacturer. The one thing I wasn't ecstatic about was the price. Although the birdbath looks really nice, the prices was excessive in my opinion.

Deep water - I like the way it looks with my rod iron fence and is very stable. I had my son put a rock in the center so the smaller birds could get a drink. The robins and jays come but the smaller birds have not found it easy to navigate. Any suggestions welcome.

Cheap welds - Arrived broken and galvanized bowl was dented. I don’t expect much but the “welds” used to hold the birds on are horrible. This isn’t the cheapest option out there so i expected better.

Poor workmanship and packaging! - Beautiful but poor workmanship. Poor welds. Holes in the top edge of the pan. Poor packaging as the bird was actually sticking out of the box...guessing that’s why it was broken off. We will repair but buyer beware!

Rusted in one year. - I like the style and depth of the birdbath. However, I ordered it on 3/25/25 and here I am one year later with a birdbath that has a hole in the bottom of the bowl from rust. :(

Beautiful - I bought this metal birdbath to use as a feeder for my wild birds. The design is beautiful and strong.
Great birdbath except for the birds - The birds are scared of the fake birds on the birdbath. I took them off and have had great bird activity since.
Nice birdbath, but birds rust quickly. 😞 - It is lovely, but 2days in, the birds began to rust.
Easy to put together - This birdbath is really nice, easy to put together (no tools required). The birds love it and so do our squirrels and deer (they drink out of it regularly..hehe). Very sturdy, been knocked over a few times by the deer but stands right back up with no damage.

My mom loves it and said she has never seen this style of birdbath before - Got this for my mom for Mother's Day as her old plastic/resin style one broke. She really likes this one, and so do all the birds. She's never had a metal one before and says it's very high quality, light weight, and easy to maneuver around the yard and clean. It's durable and sturdy, doesn't tip when the occasional squirrel jumps onto it (and wouldn't break even if it did). She says her favorite part is it's unique style and how "pretty" it looks. It blends in seamlessly under a tree in the yard. You almost don't even notice it at first glance, which the birds really seem to appreciate. She also says she likes how the dish is large and holds a lot of water, but also kind of shallow making it very easy to rinse out with the hose. All the neighborhood birds large and small seem to visit it regularly. It made a great gift!

Beautiful design - The only thing I found is you need to wax the bowl every year before you put it out, otherwise, it will start rusting.
Nice for a year or two but not more - The birds really like this bath. It seemed well built, but the basin is extremely thin, and after two summers the metal rusted out in several places. Not acceptable

Not an ecccexpensive birdbath and not a - Please do not purchase this birdbath. Two days after putting outside and one day of rain the frame work started to rust. with in a couple of months the bowl itself started rusting. It got so bad the water was orange. And I was cleaning/scrubbing every single day and adding fresh water. Also the water was getting low very fast, unlike my other birdbaths of different materials. So I thought the sun and heat of the stainless was causing it to evaporate??? Then a year later I decide to paint the bowl with Rust-Oleum silver paint. I then noticed a few small pin holes, so there was the reason for the water level always going down quickly! Unfortunately I didn't think to take a photo.
It rusts and leaks over time. - I had it for about 5 years and then the bath started to rust and it leaked. I applied bird friendly epoxy to it and it made it another season.
Not worth the money - Even though this is well built - it rusts almost immediately.
Cheap and you know it - Cheap materials and construction. The dish was already damaged when I got it, but not enough to worry about. After only a week the color was washing out on the dish, and the cast bird decorations were/are discolored and starting to rust. Oh well, live and learn. It's taken a rustic look on which weirdly fits in with out garden.
