DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!! - We ordered this fountain last summer and set it up 1 month after receiving it due to finishing up the landscaping for the area we were putting it. Upon set up, we noticed that the water level was going down and found a leak in the fountain. Due to the delay in setting it up, Amazon was not able to help us with a return. I reached out to Alpine to resolve it. They had no issues with replacing the item however they were going to charge me $350 for shipping the item from California to Alberta. Eventually, they agreed to ship it for free. We received the replacement in the Fall of 2025. We placed the new fountain, in the box, into our basement over the Winter to protect it. Edmonton had a late Spring so we just recently set up the replacement fountain. AGAIN - we noticed the water disappearing very quickly. Upon moving the fountain we were able to find a leak in the front left corner (based on the wet mulch under the fountain.) This is a shame because I love the look and sound of the fountain but the quality is just not there. I did email Alpine again just before this review and am waiting on their reply but I am not holding my breath. I paid over $700 for this fountain to have two of them leak.
Fits beautifully into the surroundings. - Packaged well. Easy setup. Sturdy and fits beautifully into the surroundings. It’s on the heavy side - 60lbs, but two people can easily move it. Although it’s installed in a shady spot, I treated it with sun/UV protection spray as some purchasers have noted sun fade in the finish. Very pleased.
Tranquil and beautiful - Oh my goodness! Best purchase ever! I love sitting outside listening to the sound of the waterfall! It is so beautiful and relaxing. Good quality, easy installation. I surrounded mine by stones and ferns.
Easy to install and aesthetically pleasing. - 1. Installation is about 30-40 minutes. 2. Tank holds about 10-12 gallons. 3. The back of the fountain doesn't look like a fountain, it looks like a tree trunk. 4. For us it was an excellent purchase.
Love it! - Really impressed with this fountain. All the Woodland creatures love to come get a drink each day. My dogs love it too. I have it set up at the top of a dry River rock Stream. It looks amazing. why isn’t it running isn’t it?
Perfect Fountain!! - I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Fountain!! So easy and quick to assemble! High quality! Inexpensive to purchase and have seen no increase in my electric bill and I don’t turn mine off. Extremely natural looking & relaxing to listen to. I had a baby deer come and drink out of it and birds love it! LED lights reflect in the water at night! This is a for sure WINNER! So inexpensive compared to other fountains! I can’t say enough positive about this fountain! Can’t rate customer service because haven’t needed them!
Better than I thought - The picture is not a finished project, bought some moss for it and the plants in front will spread out.
Gorgeous and high quality - I love that the water reservoir is quite large and mostly internal, to help keep the water clean from falling leaves, bird poo, etc. We live in NM where it gets very hot in the summer and the many gallons the reservoir holds helps with not needing to refill it every other day due to quick evaporation, as I've had to do with other fountains in the past. The sound is lovely as well, just like being near a mountain brook, and the motor looks pretty heavy duty despite being fairly quiet. I was fortunate to find this fountain on sale when I bought it, but seeing it for myself and its high level quality, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it at full price. It's gorgeous!
So far So Good - I recently received the fountain and have not had any issues so far. Set up was easy. I love the sound of the water. There is a very faint hum from the sound of the pump but it is hardly noticeable.
Looks and sounds great - It's a beautiful foundation and the sound of the water flow reminds me of the little natural spring creek by my favorite camping place.
I love it!
Easy to set up
Pretty fountain - I waited over a year to purchase this fountain because I LOVED it and needed to save the money to buy it. I finally did in Sept. 2022 and set it up and was very pleased. I had it running for approximately 6 weeks then turned off and stored it for the winter months. Then once the weather warmed up I brought it back out and filled it again. It worked, but was leaking water after 1 day. Within a week a crack was evident in one of the seams of the fiberglass and it wouldn't even hold water for 24 hours. After much back and forth Alpine said they would honor the warranty and waived the $170 shipping fee they were going to charge me to send a replacement fountain. I absolutely love the size, shape, look, sounds, etc. of this fountain just really hoping that it will last so that I can enjoy it for a long time.
Buy it! - It looks amazing! Love the sound of the water flow. It sounds like a stream or brooke. Can't hear the pump at all. It looks completely natural.
It's so realistic looking - Did not like that there were no written instructions. I loved the, size and shape, and the realistic look of it. The water has a beautiful tone to it and the pump sound is not that noticeable. It's big and heavy, but I managed to unbox and move it on my own in its beautiful location.
Enjoying my fountain. So glad I purchased this - This product looks even better than the pictures. Easily set it up in a short time and my area looks better than it ever has. The sound is very relaxing. Very glad I got this
The Ideal Accent for Natural Decor - Please don’t gage this by my crappy photographer skills. I had this on my wishlist for a long time. I wanted a water feature in my apartment. It fits my tropical decor perfectly. It adds some humidity. The LED lights are on a separate plug so that they don’t have to be on unless you want them to be (which I love! I plan to put them on a smart plug on a timed routine with Alexa.). It’s big enough to be an amazing focal point. Worth every cent. I wish I would have purchased it sooner. It is also my pets’ new “watering hole”. I couldn’t possibly be happier with it. I can hardly wait to move it to its new permanent spot! It’s going to go right up against my river rock accent wall. I’m so happy with this in fact, that I am planning on buying two other large fountains from this company. My living room is going to be a paradise!
Order from Amazon is the best - I love this fountain! Beautiful in my outdoor garden
Very natural looking waterfall - Love, love, love the waterfall logs! Makes such a pleasant sound by our front porch steps!
Looks really good in the yard - I really love this water fountain. Looks great. Fits into my backyard perfectly and the birds love it. Water sounds nice, like a soft soothing stream, not like someone peeing in the toilet. I did my research before buying - if you close your eyes and listen to some of the water feature advertising videos, most sound like someone peeing in a toilet. Anyway - I am very happy with the look of this water feature. You can see it in the corner of this video that I was filming of the squirrels.. Oh - and easy to "put together" just a couple of steps that takes a few minutes. - Great Purchase!
Very pretty at night - Love listening to the water.. our little slice of peace and sanity
Fountain! - Lovecthis ! So pretty
Leaks after 1 year! - Do not buy. Only had fountain for 1 year and it leaks with no way to fix it. Overpriced and poorly made. Should definitely last more then I year. Highly disappointed and would not recommend this product!
Disappointed - I’ve had it 9 months and it started leaking It still leaks tried everything junk
Poor quality.... leaked after 2 years - Started to leak after 2 years. This unit was inside my patio enclosure... never an exposure to the outside. Poorly made.
Still Working Two Years Later - This was the second summer with this water feature, and it is still working flawlessly. The color is still almost like new, and all the lights still work. We do drain and store it in a shed during the winter to avoid freezing here in the Northeast.
Make sure cord alone is long enough to reach your outlet. Seller says not to use an extension cord. - We like the fountain but the cord is not long enough to reach our outside plug & it says not to use an extension cord so we would have to have an electrician install a closer outlet. We were able to use an outdoor extension cord with our last fountain without any problems.
Beautiful fountain, great water sounds. - Beautiful outdoor fountain. This is our second one to replace one just like it we bought about 8 years ago. It should last longer, but I think it's my fault it started leaking. Don't slide it on concrete or anything for that matter. It will harm the bottom. I moved it to empty the water in the winter. From now own, I'm getting an electric battery operated pump to remove the water if I can't just dump it out where it sits. I could create a "funnel' to put under the cascading water and direct it over the side, but I don't want to run the internal pump dry. Also, be sure to empty it before freezing weather.
Piece of crap. - The material this is made out of is sooo thin and brittle. I would compare it to potato chips. I was so careful setting it up on my patio. I put rubber pads under it to protect the bottom. It worked ok for all of 6 weeks or so. Went outside this morning and the concrete was wet 2 feet around it. Took me a long time to save up the money to buy this. I'm heartbroken. Shame on this company for taking hundreds of dollars from people to send them such an absolute piece of JUNK.
Beautiful and realistic - Well, shipping was amazing, it was on my front porch in less than two days. But the product itself is amazing, it fits our landscaping beautifully, works exactly as I hoped, and it looks terrific, short video attached here.
Great addition - Looks realistic and sound of running water is wonderful. The blueish light makes water look more real
Kinda ockward...slightly heavy. - Still setting up the area. I'll return to leave a review soon enough. Happy Holidays!
Did Love it. - I used this one summer and by the end of the season it was soooo faded it looks now like a bleached log that has been dead for a very long time. The color didn't hold up very long at all. I love everything else about it. I brought it out of winter storage now may 2025 and it started right up running well. However one of the LED lights needs replaced. So I think if you varnish the fountain when you receve it the color will hold up longer. I repainted mine and now it looks great again.
Garden beauty - Fits under my window and creates a peaceful space
Nice flow and sound but found a small leak - 4 stars. After spending $22.00 for distilled water and carefully filling etc. We turned it on to have it have a small leak. It was so tiny we ended up keeping it and patching the hole. It seems to be holding water fine now. We love the overall woodland look and the water is relaxing to listen to. It's perfect to come home to and unwind from a long day! I'd still recommend it. The overall look, feel and sound of the waterfall is what you'd find at a garden statuary store.
Well built - Nice cascading sound - Second Alpine product I bought. Nicely built only concern is how quickly colors fade. Had to repaint the last one. Willing to repaint this one as well. Currently using a solar powered pump and not the original. Might do that in the winter.
Pump failed. - Purchased June 4th, pump failed by July 13th. Be prepared to jump through endless hoops to get the company to honor the warranty, including making and sending them videos, providing numbers from long lost packing materials, to providing your Amazon receipts. At some point, it just stops being worth it.
Color Did not last - I love the fountain. The only drawback is that sun has stripped the color completely off the fountain. So, I would not recommend it if it is going to be out in the sun.
Love the fountain but it was NOT new.... - This was NOT new when we got it. The pump and cords were all tangled inside the fountain. It took me 45 minutes to untangle it all. The box and styrofoam was damaged. There was small little styrfoam all over the fountain. Very disappointed in the fact that it was used. I paid for a NEW one
