Unique - So far, no issues with my bubble wall, opened it mid Feb. Cute and fun asset to my living room. The motor is a bit loud, tried placing foam around the motor, which did not help much- so I just turn the tv volume up 😊. I also bought a mirror to go behind the acrylic for aesthetic purposes. No regrets.

Awesome Fountain...until. Disappearing customer service. - I bought this fountain online. The first one arrived broken and unusable, so I had to return it. I received a replacement, which was undamaged and intact. Assembly and setup is/was extremely easy. After assembly, the bubble wall is filled with distilled water only. I have always used distilled water. Initially, this fountain was the center piece of out home and always a topic of discussion by visitors. We soon discovered the flow and volume of bubbles were decreasing. I changed the water and was going to attempt to clean the diffusers. I later learned though contact with Alpine Corporation - Jenny Austria, the acrylic wall is sealed, and the diffusers are permanently mounted. Hence they cannot be cleaned. So I then discovered the pump internal mechanisms that generates the airflow had gone bad. I replaced the pump mechanism, which did not produce and positive results. As vaguely mentioned above, I contacted Alpine Corporation with a simple question. Instead of them simply answering an easy question, they had me go through this exercise to provide proof of purchase, upload pictures and a video, and more. After fulfilling their requests to provide the asked for information, they never answered my question, did not provide and support, or remedy my problem. I follow-up on obtaining and answer/support, and Alpine Corporation has failed to respond and have now gone silent. Needless to say, if you have money to throw away, or want a temporary eye piece for a party or engagement in your home, by all means, purchase this fountain. If you do not have money to throw away, I would caution you against this purchase because in a short period of time, you will more than likely be disappointed. I have attached two photos to this review. The first one is the advertisement listing photo. At first, this is the bubble flow. The second photo is my current bubble flow. The picture doesn't do true justice, but look at the far right side and the gaps between the bubbles. Anyhow, consider other options over this one. 1 star at best!!!

The worst purchase I have ever made - After 3 months the left side of the item quit working. The pump is noisy and has poor air flow/power for so big an item. The item is so very hard to clean. The air hoses keep popping off the motor. I paid $650 for this item. Very overpriced. Customer service is no help. The representative had trouble with language comprehension and was unintrested in offering any solutions. This is the worst purchase I have ever made.

HALF THE BUBBLES WORKED WHEN ASSEMBLED - THE LEFT SIDE BUBBLES WERE DEFECTIVE.... I adjusted all of the valves and the last section on the left never worked. Contacted Customer Service for a replacement and they said they would give me a partial refund. This is not a cheap item and after assembled would be difficult to move. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I now have a half functioning bubble wall in my waiting room in my clinic. TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TAKE IT APART, DRAIN IT THEN SEND IT BACK...... not the outcome I expected with an expensive item.

Chipped and Damaged - Bought this for our wellness spa and unfortunately, the fountain is chipped and damaged upon arrive. The box was ripped and the fountain has several chips out of it. Would like to be contacted for this to be made right without doing a complete return.

Beautiful, but very noisy - As others have pointed out, this is a very nice display piece, but the very loud humming noise from the pump is not only distracting, but becomes very irritating over time. We are seriously considering giving it away. Manufacturer - find a quieter pump!

Beautiful Addition to home - Look the look and how quiet it is. The color features are nice as well. We purchased it in August and half of the air pump stopped working in December, this was disappointing. We found a replacement pump that will arrive in the next few days.

Can’t clean it out - Update: it was unplugged and left setting (daughter hated the humming it made and kept turning it off). Now there is algae in the bottom but I can’t clean it. It’s like completely ruined… I tried some algae liquid and a drain cleaning scope but I couldn’t apply enough pressure using the 6 foot scope tube thingy. Pro: it looks awesome! Controlled by remote control that lets you choose color, brightness, light pattern. Makes a really nice ambience despite the humming sound! I have mine set up outside of my shower stall so I can create a mood lol Con: 1) my rocks got jostled all over the product, they are white and dusty. 2) There was one wire that I couldn’t figure out what to do with until my husband said to just ignore it and then it’s probably to connect to another unit. 3) it’s hard to fill up the wall with water. Took me a while but I managed to get it done by myself. 4) there is a humming that is pretty loud. I don’t mind really but keep that in mind. I saw another reviewer put a towel in hers to make it quieter but I’m not sure yet if I feel safe doing that. Overall I am satisfied with the finished product but it does have some flaws that you will have to overlook or find something else for your needs.

Beautiful But LOUD!! - When I opened the box, this thing really intimadated me lol. I'm a 51yr old single female and assembling things has never been my strong suit, unfortunately lol. I had to leave it set until my mechanic/handyman got the time to come put it together for me. I had the 6 gallons of distilled water ready and waiting (for WEEKS unfortunately haha) until he could come get this beast up & running for me!! When R finally came to put it together, it didn't take him that long at all! I was actually really surprised. Now, he's the type that does a lot of grunting & cussing under his breath while working if something is frustrating him and he had a lot of that going on while trying to insert the plug but it still only took him around 45-50 minutes from start to finish! The things I love about this is that it looks GREAT against my wall. Sitting and watching the bubbles rising to the top is kind of almost hypnotizing to me. I LOVE the colors and the fact I can change the colors. It's unique. There is one bigger than this one, but basically the same thing, at our local zoo that everyone talks about. -Now I can say I have one just like the zoo, only on a smaller scale lol. Now this will sound crazy to some, but another thing that I love, is that it's kind of loud running. I'd say that it kind of sounds like a deep freezer running. This aspect would probably be annoying to a LOT of people, but I personally HAVE to have white noise to relax and sleep. Yep, I'm one of those people that have a fan running in my bedroom even in the winter, because my mind craves that noise to relax and fall asleep lol. The reason I gave this a 4 star review instead of a 5 is because like I mentioned above, it IS pretty dang loud and like I'd said, I know that to a lot of people this would NOT be welcomed and would be viewed as a distraction. -For instance my daughter loves the wall itself, but hates the noise it makes lol. She doesn't understand how I can find it soothing. Then again, she doesn't understand why I sleep with a fan running in the winter time in my bedroom either though so there ya go haha! Also, the rocks in the ad for the product, are black. I didn't get black rocks with mine. Mine are white. -And a SUPER bright white at that. It doesn't fit with my living room. I'm attaching a few pics of the unassembled wall sitting in my living room waiting to be put together, so you can see the height of it against a wall AND so you can see how WHITE the rocks are. I have maroon carpet and sheers at my picture window, and dark end tables, dark couch. The white just really sticks out and doesn't match. -Not a huge deal, rocks such as these wouldn't be expensive to go purchase at a craft store or something to replace them if you get the white and don't like them. -Which is what I'll end up doing, I just haven't gotten around to it yet! But again, it doesn't match what a person would assume they will be getting with this product, so I wanted to make sure I mentioned it and showed it to ya. Another reason for the 4 star review instead of a 5 star, is because the remote kind of sucks. You have to have it directly pointed at it for it to work. So from where my recliner is, I do have to physically get up and walk to face it, to use the remote on it. -I know, I know, it's pretty lazy of me to list that as a fault but today's society has become spoiled by good remote controls, that you can just aim in the direction of the unit, press the button, and do what you want to do. That's just facts lol. Finally the last reason for a 4 star review, is the price. As much as I love this thing, $1,000?! C-RA-ZY in my opinion! Even with the 50% coupon, which is another annoyance to me ....if you're gonna take $500 for the unit, just price it at $500. -Not sure what marketing manager thought it would be a great idea to pull this trick because honestly to an everyday person that sees that, their first thought is going to be "Hmmm .....If they had a thousand dollar price on this thing but now it's 1/2 off, it must be junk! They wouldn't have to mark it down 1/2 price to move it if it really was that great". Now I don't have a degree in marketing, but I HAVE marketed my own brand of a blog. My blog has won awards 6 years straight. CNN's Dr Sanjay Gupta has interviewed me and published a few articles from that review. A paragraph quote of mine was used in a Teen Vogue article, etc. Also, I AM an every day person and that most definitely would be the thought process I'd go down being an average customer looking at this item. Realistically, it's a little over-priced at the $500 too for the size of it ....but it IS a cool, unique item that is super relaxing to sit/lay and stare at, in the dark. As long as a fairly loud humming doesn't distract you. It IS the demensions that are in the ad. It's around 6ft tall and around 20" wide. Decent sized, but in my humble opinion, for the price it definitely could be a little wider! Overall I DO recommend this item. I just think it's a tad pricy. Gorgeous though, and for me the colors, the bubbles, and the humming sound puts me right to sleep if I lay down and watch it/listen to it! I do personally LOVE this thing though. I was so excited to have the opportunity to review it, and I STILL get excited every night when I turn it on and watch it lol. A nice ambience - This wall with the silver base is pretty cool. There is a model with a black base as well so be on the lookout in case you don’t love the bottom color. This was easy to set up and had all of the parts. Once filled up and plugged in, this has a nice relaxing sound and ambiance. I personally prefer the plain bubbles with no colors going, but you do have the option of switching to many different colors. This isn’t loud at all which I like and had a relaxing sound. The wall portion is not glass like I thought it was, it’s acrylic…would prefer a glass wall at this price, but you really can’t tell unless you go up and touch it. Nice wall, just make sure all the parts are in the box before you start assembling.

One air hole doesn't work but it's nice - Super easy setup. The only thing that takes the longest to do is fill with water if you are not next to a water source. Since I have it not next to a water source I used a few kool-aid pitchers to help fill. This fountain is gorgeous once it is up and running. You get the pump, a hose to help fill with water, rocks and a remote. Once turned on the pump is loud but it's inside a metal box so I expected that. One of the air holes do not pump out bubbles but that's not a big issue. Overall it looks great and Worth the price.

So cool soooo expensive - It is quite easy to assemble. You will need 6 gallons of distilled water preferably. The water level maintained over the last few days but you will have to top it off. Use a funnel to fill it. The hose is more for draining it I believe. The big issue here is the sound. I got mine to be almost whisper quiet. Place the pump on some foam rubber. I rested it at a 45 against the acrylic panel. I then stuffed a towel in the box. It acts like a big speaker so fill it with some foam or a towel like it did. It made a world of difference. I may pick up another now that it's 50% off. I hate when that happens.

The pump is TOO LOUD - It takes about 6 gallons of water (I filled it with distilled) to fully fill the tank! It would have been 5 stars if it was quiet, but the pump is way too loud to be relaxing. It sounds like a loud fridge running... Ugh. It might be okay if you're placing this inside a club or loud music is playing, but this is not good if you were hoping like me to be quiet and relaxing. NO! They made it difficult to insert the power cord into the little white power box because you can't see the plug on the bottom. You can adjust the knobs on the bottom of each bubbles to make it more or less; however, the right corner one, again, is difficult to adjust because the side is blocking it - bad design. The remote is infrared, so you have to be pointing directly at it. You can check out my video and photo of how it looks in various color modes. It's also ridiculous how it's priced $1000 but with a 50% coupon?! Just price it normal at $500. -_-

Love this thing, it looks great in our hallway! - I've been wanting one of these bubble walls for awhile, I think they're one of the coolest things, and I ended up being able to try out this one! Honestly looks amazing, if you're looking for a nice bubble wall to accent your room, I think this should work out well, it looks really nice!~ One thing to keep in mind, if you were attached to the idea the rocks were black, it seems the color of rocks you get might be randomized? I was expecting black rocks with a lacquer shine, I instead received white rocks with a more matte look. I still like it a lot and this doesn't bother me personally, but I did notice it, so for someone else, this might mean going out of your way to buy the rocks you were specifically looking at in the product photos. --- How the set up worked out for me: It tells you you need two people to put this together? You really don't, I found it pretty easy to put together on my own, leave the film on till you're finished setting it up, be careful, should be able to set it up just fine. The instructions for this fountain say DO NOT get the pump wet, so I would recommend filling the acrylic before installing the pump, that way you can wipe up any water you accidentally spill. (The water stays within the acrylic, it does not go into the silver base.) For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get the hose included to fill the acrylic to work, I ended up resorting to a large funnel, and an apple juice bottle to fill it with. Takes probably 20+ apple juice bottles to fill it, but that's an alternative way to filling it if the hose doesn't work out for you either. I initially had an issue with the bubbles in some of the spouts not working even after waiting 10 minutes, there was also one where the bubbles were a lot bigger than the rest. You fix this issue by adjusting each of the knobs of each air socket both clockwise and/or counter clockwise for each segment that needs adjusting. Setup was mostly easy and not that complicated imo.

Defective Fountain - The fountain is defective. After assembly and repeated power resets, the lights continue flickering and bubbles only come through part of the panel. The remote has also not responded. I’m requesting a full refund, not a partial refund to keep a defective item. Because this is a large, assembled fountain that must be drained. This item was either returned defective by someone else or for whatever reason not inspected before being shipped to me. Such a disappointing purchase.

Would not buy again - No support - This worked for 2 days and then the remote stopped working. It would still run when plugged in but only in one color. Then after 3 months it stopped running all together. The pump will not turn on. If I leave it plugged in, the lights will flicker on and off and pump will start and stop for a few minutes and then will not work at all. Could not reach support and would not buy again. It was really nice when it ran.

Save your box and have help in case it breaks. - Remote for leds did not work out of the box so it was stuck in the color blue. The pump then (pretty sure it was the power supply cable) died 13 days after delivery. Amazon wanted me disassemble, buy a box, and pay to ship it back to them instead of just getting a replacement part. Be sure you have help if you live alone.

Bad quality product - The only pro is that it looks great. The pump is loud, it's very hard to fill and empty. The pump died after 2 years and burned up the electrical and couldn't be replaced. The company offered no help because it was over 1 year old. It's way too expensive for how poorly it functions!

Customer Service Is No Help - We purchased TWO of these for the quiet room at our teen nonprofit. They were, at first, our favorite part of the room - and they truly added to the aesthetic. Unfortunately, one no longer bubbles, and only half of the other unit is bubbling. We've been in touch with the company, did all the troubleshooting they recommended, sent videos and photos, and have been waiting over a month for a reply. I truly hope the issues can be resolved. We don't even mind the hum of the motor because it adds ambient noise.

Waterfall quit running after 1 day…it’s dead! - We finally got to set up this waterfall after the move…worked great and exactly what I wanted! After a day, it quit working and no pump for the bubbles and no lights. The plug is good, the battery in the remote is good and the power adapter has been tested and is getting power to the waterfall. I would like this diagnosed with the proper parts so we don’t have to ship the whole thing to you for repair. Help!
