Didn't even last three months - Within three months the paint at the top of the fountain had bubbling and peeling. The support website listed by Amazon is a broken link.
Heavy and busted - Product was received damaged and now they are going to make me take it to a pick up station.. So far, I would not recommend this product.
Poor quality . No response from vendor support - It has been less than a year , the product hasn’t gone through all seasons and paint is peeling off .
BUYER BEWARE! - The pump failed within a few months and apparently cannot be replaced. I've spoken with their customer service rep, she gave me a link where the pump could be purchased, but they don't carry it either. It's been an ugly fixture on my patio ever since. I love the sound of running water while sitting outside, but it won't be coming from another Alpine fountain!
Leak at Base - Beautiful fountain. However it has lasted only a little over a year before developing a long hairline crack along the base. Uncertain whether we will purchase again.
Poor Quality - I have had this a year. It is crumbled and no longer works. Super poor quality. It started cracking after about three months.
Does not last - Purchased this fountain 2 years ago. The original pump stopped working and I couldn’t find a replacement that would also power the lights, so no more lights. Then it basically cracked in half last winter. I repaired the cracks but this summer it basically split into multiple pieces and is no longer repairable. I live in the PNW so it doesn’t get that cold or hot. Along with all this, the paint started peeling within 6 months and repainting it did not solve the problem.
Mesmerizing - Purchased this fountain last July 2024. Things I really like is number one, it is self contain and only one electoral cord. Very steady even in these Oklahoma winds. Beautiful bubbling water and in the evenings your eyes become mesmerized looking at the lighted shimmering water flow. It’s like sitting by a campfire and become intrigued by the burning ambers. Living rural, it attaches many many birds. Great for relaxing and a very good value for the money. I would highly recommend this fountain. It would fit in any environment

Beautiful fountain. - This is my second fountain, it's a great product, beautiful color, great price. Love this fountain.
Shipping and item both damaged and broken ..item looks totally used - Ordered this as a wedding anniversary gift. Came to the house absolutely broken and used. I’m not happy at all. Review is not even a star.
Love it - Large. Heavy with water so pick and stick with placement. LED light is such a nice add on. Good flow

An elegant fountain - At first I was a little hesitant about the color of this fountain, but found it provides an elegant and vibrant addition to my garden. It is relatively light weight and sleek, easy to maintain. The only drawback is the inability to turn on or off the light. Other than this, it is a fun fountain that will give you joy.

Nice but also disappointing - The fountain is just as described, beautiful and the sounds are amazing. It was packaged very well, arrived in mint condition. The only bad thing about this fountain is, no matter what setting you make on the pump, slow, medium, etc. it will only keep that water flow for 2 to 3 minutes then it goes back to a very small trickle. I love the look and quality of this fountain but very sad it doesn’t run as you want it to.
Bad Unit? - Fountain leaks water on sides badly and on a flat wood floor with level (video) surface. On the pic w/ plastic planter saucer it filled up in less than a minute & overflowed. So CS sends me a how to unpack video & towards end to run your fingers to spread water! No that didn’t do it, and that’s on lowest pump volume. So far I moved it to 3 separate locations in living room. Same issue. Waiting for any solution from a very slow to respond CS. I have an identical unit in AZ that’s worked fine, very happy for over three years! Reason purchased 2 units for this home but unhappy with flow issues and CS being slow & giving me advice like I’m a 5 yr old to pay attention to their how to video, that truly doesn’t deal with my issue! The second unit went back as it came two days later from different warehouse, box beat up & punch hole right in middle.
Loved it…,until it came out of the box - Was so excited about this fountain to put outside and when we went to set it up it has a huge hole in the front of it. I’ve reached out to Alpine to see what they will do to rectify and received a message “they have more than normal email activity and it might be a bit before I hear from them. That’s not encouraging. I will update my review if I hear from them and this can be replaced.
Only had for one year! - Only had for one year. We properly drained during winter months. Bout two fountains and they both cracked, crumbled, leaked and paint faded badly! Love the fountains but they are NOT made to last! Contacted company and they replaced fee of charge even after warranty expired. Happy with new fountains!
Most important as I learned by trial and error - I purchased the 33 inch tall red Fountain . Packaged very well with supporting styrofoam & hard cardboard. Kind of tricky to put it together for me instructions were not specific enough and not enough how to videos online . The tubing is not very stiff and it easily disconnects from the pump so it’s not a tight fit. On the top of the fountain dislodge the LED by lifting it off at the edge it should pop off . Once the LED light is out of the way thread the tubing inside the fountain down to the pump . Connect the light to the little plug cord on the pump . Fill with distilled water as this apparently cuts down on calcification build up. My fountain is at the lowest setting on the pump as the water runs down . Set too high I have found it spills over the edges leading down to the inside of the fountain. The pump has a dial to adjust water flow . You definitely have to level the fountain or it may spill water . Replace the cover over the open hole at the back it should slide in . Over all it is a very nice looking fountain & not too heavy at 45 pounds . I initially gave this fountain a good review due to its look & sound however the fountain is pretty unstable as the base is narrow . The fountain works without spilling water outside the groves on each side on the lowest pump setting . On the lowest pump setting it does not spill down the front at all . Buyer beware
Beautiful! - Love this fountain. The hummingbirds are just now arriving so I have not observed them using it yet. But it is beautiful and so soothing.
Customer Service - My fountain did not disperse water across the face entirely. I contacted Customer Service. They responded promptly via email. After providing them with all the information needed to support my claim they replaced my fountain as I requested under warranty covering the product.
The Perfect Addition to my deck!
Paint bubbling! - UPDATE: BEWARE! Used distilled water as directed! Paint bubbling after less than 2 months. Fairly easy to set up with colored instructions booklet. The only complaint is that directions didn’t show how to connect the water tube. I called them and they immediately sent an email with directions or maybe it was a video. We were able to finish in 30 seconds. Great customer service!
Very nice product! - This is a beautiful addition to our patio. It was very easy to set up and works just as expected.
Fountain - Absolutely love this fountain. So pretty and gives a calming feeling. Great value for the price
It runs out of water in 4.5 to 5 hours. VERY DISAPPOINTING! - Does not hold enough water to make through the outdoor party I bought it for. Im going to give it away or use it for a plant stand somewhere else in my yard (after I paint it a different color). I would of returned this ASAP if the box had not been thrown away.
Perfect - Absolutely beautiful! Exactly what I was looking for in my outside butterfly/hummingbird garden! Cost was right for the nice, well made bubbling fountain. Beautiful color red which changes (depending on the angle in the daytime with the bright Florida sun). The LED light on top is bright and brilliant and stays lit 24/7. Beautiful at night with the LED light illuminating in the dark. The water going down in the lower chamber has a nice sound and does not splash out. Made of fiberglass which is better than ceramic and some of the cheaply made concrete ones.
A perfect addition to our patio - A fantastic add to our patio. Great size, price, and quality. Only thing that would make it better is if it was solar powered with a timer. But again, for the price, it's a great deal. Also, it was very easy to assemble.
Gorgeous, sturdy, excellent price. - This fountain is a steal! Fill, plug and you're good to go. We live in a very windy neighborhood but because of the low height of the water spout, we only need to refill every 3-4 days. The soft sound of water is serene and the night light adds a great touch when darkness arrives. At this price, I may add another to our deck out back. I feel like our neighbors passing by on their walks get to enjoy this more than we do!
Beautiful and simple set up - Bought one, liked it so much I bought a second. Flanking my deck. Simple set up. Add water, plug in and done. Love the sound of water and the light at night is very pretty. I've had LOTS of water features over the years, mostly resin. They tend to leak after a while so we shall see how these hold up.(Update May of 2025. These are a fail for me. I took them in after thoroughly cleaning and drying them and stored them for almost 6 months. But this is how they look today. Granted I at least got one additional season out of them but this year they look absolutely terrible. Maybe they are meant to be on a patio and not outside in the elements, in the Sun. But this is Ohio, not Florida heat so I'm not sure why these things didn't last but I would never recommend them to be outside unless you want to replace them every year. And at the price they are, that's kind of cost. Prohibitive.) (March 2026 update: about to set up. Stor d in the garage all winter to help with cracked due to the cold weather. As you can see the paint is jacked up. They will look a little better with water running on them but ....... If anyone reads this, just know, IMO they are not meant to be outside without cover.)
Very nice - As you can see it’s under our patio. My husband calls it a big apple. Packaged well, using distilled water. Not very loud but didn’t expect it to be. Light looks like a flame at night. Put it on a timer, added some decorative black rock and bought a black plant saucer. Nice little fountain.
Love it - Light at night dances off the wall and ceiling makes a nice relaxing sound heavy enough to not blow over in the wind but light enough to move if needed. I have no trouble with water splashing out of fountain like others have reported.
Great Product…..Excellent Customer Service. Wonderful company to work with! - This product is so easy to install and is amazing beautiful. However, the reason I had to write this review is due to the customer service of this company. The product was shipped without one of the connections from the pump to the hose. When I called the company not were they apologetic for the inconvenience, was so efficient in telling me what they were going to do and expeditiously sent me not only the little connecting piece but a whole new assembly. The replace unit was here very quickly and installing it was a breeze. I have recommended this company to my friends and hope those who are looking for a quality enhancement for their home considered this company. I hope you will enjoy your choice of their fountains as much as I enjoy mine!
Love the look and sound! Perfect for Us - I have always had flower pots and got tired of the maintenance so opted to add a little water feature to our front entry way. Love the look and sound of this Jar Fountain. It looks rich, warm and inviting. The lights are a fun addition in the dark. We have ours set on a timers to enjoy throughout the day.
I have 2 in my living room!! - Purchased the turquoise one last year and fell in love with the zen feeling of peaceful sound. I keep it on 24/7 and add 2 pitchers of water in it every 3 days. Purchased the brown one to add to the living room and the sound of the 2 together are like an oasis. After a few months, the brown one had a stream that was not going straight into the bottom but was catching the edge causing water to spill. I have these fountains sitting on trays with a 2 inch depth just to save the carpet from any moisture and to keep the fountains level. I contacted Alpine about the issue and they immediately sent me a replacement. Their customer service is truly amazing. Love love love these fountains!
Great product, great service! - I purchased an open box item from them. When it was delivered, the item was broken during shipping. I contacted the seller and they were so accommodating. They sent me a new replacement one. It was super easy to assemble and looks beautiful on our front porch. Amazing customer service!! Thank you : )
So pretty - Just received my fountain. My 11yr old helped me set it up. It was packaged nicely, at first the light wasn't on but it was because we didn't connect the light wires tight enough. So easy to assemble. The noise sounded loud and hallow in the basin at first, but I saw another review here that said to make sure the pump was at the very bottom & that it could hold up to 3 gallons of water, so we added more water & that fixed it right up, now we have the calming sound of trickling water. I am hoping the pump & paint hold up as a few other review's here stated they had issues. So far so good. It is very reasonably priced for how sturdy and big it is. I am happy with my purchase.
Works great, loved the colors. - You recommend using distilled water, why is this not pointed out during the order process, or explain why distilled water should be used. Update 10-9...Fountain has had continued use since May. Distilled water was used in all fill ups. White residue was left on fountain, fountain will need maybe a repaint next spring.
