SEAL THE UNIT - This will be my 2nd purchase of the Waterwheel Water Fountain. It is a pretty cool item. If you decide to purchase, you need to seal the inside bottom and the sides with some type of epoxy. The bottom of fountain is very porous and will most certainly leak. If they would improve this design, I would give it a 5 star rating. Very relaxing listening to the water flow. Tried to leave a more detailed review but the site doesn't like an honest review and recommendation. Will see if this revies goes through.
Disintegrating after 4 months of use. - Got my fountain out after carefully storing it for the winter. It is disintegrating. Some spots are so bad the mesh is showing. It is leaking horribly!!! It is unusable. I am so disappointed.
Like it but did embellish it some... - I was relieved to see that this fountain was being shipped by UPS. It did arrive intact. I embellished it somewhat with some brighter green and purple paint to the areas that represent foliage. I also painted the door an antique purple and added some miniature fairies and miniature gnomes by simply hot gluing them while setting it up. Sometimes when the timer first turns it on, the water wheel will begin to turn backwards. You have to stop it and manually start it forward. I think the opening where the water comes out onto the water wheel should have been a fraction slightly to the front. I solved this issue with a hot glue gun by adding some dollops of glue resembling a stack of rocks to the back side of the water opening making the water come out more to the front of the opening. Also, the water tubes inside the fountain come off of the pump and split into a Y going up to two different outlets. I had to clean out one of the tubes because there was some sort of gray substance inside it. The water tubes were definitely used and came off of something else. With all that being said, I do like the outcome and enjoy it very much so far.

It’s a beautiful fountain… BUT - Don’t get me wrong the fountain is beautiful.. just be careful because you might receive a used or refurbished one. It’s such a disappointment. However, Amazon was very nice and put in for a replacement immediately. I hope I get a new one. It’s expensive.
Had a problem , solved with professionalism - The castle is beautiful. The best part is the water wheel . It came damaged ,but customer service took care of the problem. They immediately responded and in no time everything is working great. It looks fantastic in our fairy garden , and we will enjoy it every time we see it. Thanks so much to Karen and her team. Add more water! - I love castles so was so excited to find this one. Only problem we had was the wheel. I added exactly 2 1/4 gallons of water. It wouldn’t move. Leaks Terribly - As shown in photo…leaks excessively….this was after already wiping up last leak….its a shame because it’s beautiful….just not worth the hoping for this beautiful piece just to be let down by its disappointing functionality.
Great addition to fairy garden - We have had the product for about a week and it is running great. We were missing an attachment for the pump but their customer service is great and we had the replacement part within a week. It looks great, and it is of very solid construction. Be sure to rinse out the resevoir before using as there are particles that will clog the pump that need removed before operation. My daughter painted the moss a bit with green acrylic paint and it helped make it pop.
Castle Fountain - I have included the before and after photos of our castle fountain. We are almost finished with the installation as we need to add the flowering vine that will crawl along the base. We are so pleased! Absolutely stunning as you can see.
Broken!!! - Not necessarily on the manufacturer as Amazon is horrible with delivery. Very disappointed, I was looking forward to this piece. It looks so beautiful
Bad product and no support. - The fountain came with a broken hose barb fitting and no bottom hose. Contacted Amazon and was referred to the manufacturer. Manufacturer has a form you fill out on their website. Filled it out and 1 week later still no reply. If I could give no stars I would.
Fairy garden fountain - I'm very pleased with this purchase and glad my neighbor saw when it was delivered. It is very heavy for one person to carry. Super easy assembly. Focal point of my fairy garden. 🧚♂️
Broken tower but got new fountain and love it! - Follow up to previous post - received a new fountain and it works perfect and I love it - since box was not broken there was very little styrofoam mess. Can’t wait to plant around it and have my fairy garden. I have it running full blast but will turn it down some for more of a trickle - highly recommend and the manufacturer’s were great to work with
Beautiful Fountain - Our first arrived severely damaged in many broken pieces. The seller quickly responded within 2 days. The seller sent us a new one without the hassle of having to send the broken one back. The fountain looks and works great. Pleasure doing business with a company like Alpine.
Love the fountain and great customer service . - Love the fountain... the first one that was delivered was leaking from the bottom but I reached out to Alpine and the customer service was amazing.. they emailed back right away and sent us a new one immediately that works perfectly... we appreciate it so much.
Adorably Cute!!! - We love this fountain, but the wheel is somewhat wonky as it’s a little crooked in its space, and doesn’t always spin. We are always having to adjust it to keep it spinning. A minor inconvenience compared to how cute the design is. UPDATE: 6/3/23 After continuously having to adjust the wheel to make it turn, I finally wrote to the company Alpine. Almost a year later and they replaced the whole unit!!!! The wheel moves flawlessly on the new fountain so we are thrilled!!!!
Love this fountain - Soooo beautiful... I added lights and rocks and am waiting on my solar fountain pump so I don't need electricity (also ordered from Amazon). I love,love,love this fountain, glade my hubby bought it!!!!! It goes great with my other fountains and pond water features!!! My yard is now complete with this bad boy!!!! Update 8 months later I have moved this in door due to winter weather (yes I super cleaned it out before hand) and I added a fairy, rocks, lights, fog and flowers and it is amazing indoor too!!!
Fabulous Fountain - We are delighted with this fountain choice. It is a charming addition to our patio. It was easy to set up, although somewhat heavy. It is ideal for placing little miniature figures. Very pleased with our choice.

I love it! Customer service was superior! - This is exactly as I expected. From the beginning I intended on touching up the paint a little, to make the moss greener and highlight some areas. That really made all the difference! See the pics. I feel it is a little expensive but considering it is unique and just what I wanted, I was willing to pay the $236. The first one to arrive had shipping damage (a 10" area was mashed in) and the cord door was glued shut from the company. However, I contacted Alpine, and they responded within hours. I sent pictures, and they sent out a second one to me which arrived in a few days. That box was also damaged, but thankfully the fountain was in perfect condition. So I only give 4 stars because of the hassle, but customer service was stellar!!!
Great quality with detailed workmanship - Product well made. Carefully packed and received item in perfect condition. The Actual castle wheel waterfall fountain is prettier than the picture. Perfect addition to my backyard with the woods and trees behind as a backdrop. I was so impressed with the quality and detailed workmanship that I purchased a second more expensive fairy waterfall made by Alpine corporation. Just few words of caution: It is heavy and you need at least 2 persons to unpack and carry to desired location. See video and photo.
Nice addition - The packaging could be improved, that’s for certain! The styrofoam was pulverized in places, and the two top edges of the panel that slides into the back of fountain were broken. I found one tiny fragment in the box, so either the rest of the pieces went the way of the styrofoam, or never made it inside. The wheel is also a little crooked, and will require modification to set straight. Despite that, it does turn as it should. Now that the cons are out of the way, I love how it looks in my fairy garden, and the sound it makes. My Pretmann’s fairies are the perfect size for it, and it’s a great setting for them. Despite its flaws, I’m not at all disappointed I purchased it. If I had it to do over, I’d do the same.
Beautiful - Four stars only because it is running beautifully now and hope it continues. This is truly beautiful fountain . I placed in inside a large bedroom in the corner and added some loose artificial moss for now. Worth the money unless you want build your own. Checked prices and Amazon same as everything else. Also bought extra warranty : if problems easily replacement
Looks great out of the box nothing but nightmares followed - This was a gift for my wife and to be honest a bit more than I normally would consider spending on a fountain but at the time reviews were somewhat positive and I took the price as a sign of quality (wishful thinking) Setup is pretty straightforward and we had it up and running. But the pump would clog repeatedly through the day from the smallest bit of debris and onetime a spider. But the real issue was when it started to lose parts of the fiber glass outershell. Then it started leaking. Literally didn't survive one season. Very disappointing.
A magically delightful water feature for your garden escape - I hesitated a long time before making the decision to buy this. I read the reviews, had questions, but ultimately decided to get it. I'm super happy I did. Our old fountain died and we missed the relaxing sound of bubbling water from this little grotto in our backyard. This sat in my garage, sealed in the box, for a year before I got off of my duff and put it together. I don't know why I waited so long. "Assembly" was so, so easy. It does require electrical power. It's not solar-powered. The pump is fairly robust and has been used all throughout the summer without any issues. I keep it and the water clean, so that helps immensely because it will suck up leaves and other detritus in the water, making the pumping action weaker. There were complaints about the wheel not spinning. I don't know what people are or were doing, but we've never had an issue with that. That wheel could mill grain it spins so reliably. I don't know how many gallons it holds, but it's a decent amount of water and it's enough to hear as we're sitting on our patio (the fountain is seated approximately 15' away from our patio furniture). It's heavy as all get out. It's made of some sort of hydrostone or cast stone and *can* chip if you bang something heavy against it. I would highly recommend emptying all of the water out before winter hits so the remaining water doesn't expand and potentially crack the base or other parts exposed to water. It looks fantastic if a castle with a waterwheel and falling fountain is your thing.
It leaked. Refunded - I'll give it 2 stats because it looked nice, but if you put to much water it makes noise. The wheel does a popping noise, if you fill it to luttle it doesnt work right. And then it was leaking so I had to fill it every morning. It does look nice, just wish it worked well. Got a refund and had to send it back. Picked up by Amazon. Its about 2 feet wide square and 3 foot tall. Size was nice. Assembly was basic, and its pretty heavy.
Storybook Fountain - The canal storybook ride at Disneyland inspired me to create this little storybook fountain garden at home. The castle fountain was easy to put together and has worked very well over the summer, fall and winter months since I've had it. The pump has worked perfectly. I touched it up with a little extra paint here and there, like yellow in the windows, to make it stand out even more. The sun in my south-facing garden has not faded it at all. What a pleasant find on Amazon! Perfect addition to my secret garden!
Fairy Castle Fountain - Great addition to any garden. I have mind next to a small pond, the animals love it as a water source. I purchased small toy fairies and used silicone to glue them at various locations. The neighbor's kids love it,
Beautiful fountain but poor construction - It was not well-made. When it arrived the bottom was smashed. The style is really nice, but the construction was poor. However, I contacted Amazon and they notified the vendor and the vendor sent us a return label and refunded our money. No complaints with that. They fixed the problem
Very satisfied - I love my fountain. Priced right and fit right into our garden. Easily assembled. It is quiet. The birds love to get a drink in the morning. Instructions were very clear. No issues from start to finish.
