Works and is beautiful - This waterfall is beautiful - I just love it. It is so easy to set up right out of the box. Just take out the light cord and connect it. Hook the pump to the hose and place in the bottom of fountain, fill with water and that's it. It runs beautifully and the water is a good flow. not dripping but a full flow. It is way worth the money. You will love it
Soothing - This was super easy to set up. Just make sure that you have two (2) outlets near the area you want to place it. I have it hooked up to a smart outlet and sit on a timer/schedule. It's pretty heavy but not too heavy that I couldn't do it by myself. I attached a video so you can seeand near now gorgeous and soothing this is.
Great customer service - ***UPDATE*** To truly understand this product and appreciate my review please read through all updates. After having some paint fading issues I put in a request for customer service which was return within a few days. After taking a few pictures of my issues and attaching them to an email I was contacted with a tracking number for a brand new unit coming my way. I was a bit disappointed the paint failed so quickly but hey nobody is perfect and these things happen. But I will say this, they stood by their word and warranty. Needless to say I am quite pleased by this outcome. I would refer anyone to this company for a nice water feature. *Update: Sadly I was forced to update this review. After only a few short weeks outside, the paint has started coming off which is needless to say is very disappointing especially at this high price point. I noticed a dull spot when I was filling my fountain and as you can see from my video it smeared with relative ease. Hopefully the company will respond to my review and if they do I will surely update my review. So this went from a 5 star all the way down to a 1 star. This is my second water feature from this company and this is my favorite so far. It’s incredibly easy to setup, it only took about 15 minutes. This particular unit has 2 power cords, 1 for the lights and 1 for the pump. So you’ll definitely need to be close to an outlet. Don’t be tempted to turn the pump setting to high, follow the directions and set it as low as possible. I thought I would try the high setting, it only led to splashing and water running over the sides. I would definitely suggest adding a touch of algaecide from time to time. It will help with maintenance issues down the road. My only gripe would be the bottom light. It’s not quite bright enough for my taste and when you’re sitting at a level view of the fountain the bottom light gets a bit lost in the moment. They definitely should have raised it or installed a brighter led. This isn’t enough to knock a star off however. Bottom line: these are incredibly expensive but if you have the means I would say go for it. Nothing beats the sound of trickling water on a nice cool evening. I’m sold!!
This fountain requires two plugs, one for the pump and one for the lights. The pump is3 wire. - The location for this fountain is along a building corner, so I did NOT want an open design, but rather a focal point that was complete on its own. So, when this became available, I ordered it. Here is what Ifound: 1. There is a separate pump and lights transformer. The pump requires a 3 wire socket and the light transformer requires a polarized two wire plug in. 2. The back of this one, like others from this company, has a removable cover in the back that you can reach the pump and take the wires out through. They did a great job in providing a opening large enough that you can attach the pump to the tubing outside of the fountain and then pass it through the opening to put it in place! Makes things much easier to install. 3. The lights on this are white and do not change color. I have no problem with this and it is what I actually prefer. Just wante to ensure that everyone knows it so no one is upset. 4. This unit appears to hold about 5 gallons of water. Depending on the humidity level and if any creatures are drinking from the fountain, the water should be good for several days. 5. There is no splashing of water on the pavement. I am very pleased with this fountain and I would highly recommend it.
fountain - Fountain distributed by Alpine.
Flow is not adjustable - Flow was not adjustable as the directions stated...Flow is not peaceful and calming...we are disappointed
Cheap piece of plastic that leaked within short time. - Bought this fountain and within a short time it started to leak. The company stated they had no kit for repairs and stated leaks are not under warranty. Would NOT recommend
Water fountain - It is perfect more than I expected I love the flowing mechanism, and the lights at night are just right 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Sent with huge crack - Dont buy. Sent with a huge crack. Now I have a fountain that holds water for 1 hour…
Like it alot - No complaints about the appearance, operation or quality in general. But I did learn since that it was at least $100 overpriced compared to others I have seen since.
Gorgeous Addition to the Patio - Ordered this for my Wife's Mother, who has a home on the other side of our land out in the country. She has a nicely decorated back patio. And she's always liked the idea of having a fountain. So I set this up for her. It's deceptively light, compared to what you think it might weigh. Which was wonderful for me, that I didn't have to attempt to install an actual rock fountain that weighed 150 pounds. It's an absolutely sight in the evening. At night, it's rare in our area to hear anything besides the sounds of nature. So it does add a little something, it's very peaceful. The only negative I can mention about this product is just that we didn't keep this one for ourselves lol. My Wife absolutely wanted it for our home after seeing how it looked on her mother's patio. This is one of many different products that we've ordered from the Alpine brand. From fountains to pumps, all of them excellent. So we at least are very confident about ordering any products from this brand, and can recommend them.
Sadly it arrived broken on the top, but it is so beautiful! - Ordered this as I've always wanted a rock fountain, however upon delivery I noticed it was cracked SEVERELY on the top, showing the inside of the fountain where the water comes out. It doesn't affect function, however it is really beautiful to look at and I love listening to it! Currently it is Winter, so it is put away, but when we had it out, it performed very well! Parts of the flow were restricted due to the foam pieces getting gunked up, and for some reason they are still blocked even after cleaning them, so I'm not sure what is going wrong! Overall I was very happy with it in the beginning!
