Horrible design! Dont waste your money. - It’s pretty but terrible design. The pump sits up high so requires a lot of water in basin. But the water doesn’t stay in the basin because it all splashes out! This was full to the top this morning!

Bonita y muy sutil - Es bastante sólida a pesar de ser de plástico. Debe estar bien nivelada o el agua se va de lado. La presión de la bomba es baja así que la "caída" del agua es demasiado suave; me gustaría que tuviera un poco más de fuerza para que el "ruido" del agua fuera más fuerte y por lo tanto más "tranquilizador". Estéticamente se ve bien aún apagada.
Plastic. Leaks - It's just as pictured. But it is a lightweight plastic and I had the water in it for 30 minutes and the water was gone. Leaked out somewhere. Put it on the lowest bubbling/fountain setting and same thing. Dissatisfied.
Not worth the trouble. - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I purchased this fountain, put it completely together and it was lopsided and only trickled down on one side. I returned it and was charged $4.09 for shipping back.

Design changed/flaw - Lets see if Alpine reaches out to fix this. I have bought 3 of these in the last 2.5 years. The first two worked fine. One is still working, the second one stopped working. I cleaned any debris that was in and around the motor and it started working again. After a few months it again stopped. I cleaned it up again but this time it truly just died. So i bought this 3rd one. Now, i don't know if there was a packaging mistake or I am making one, but doesn't look like it. If you see the pics i added, the previous ones, the motor does NOT have a extension sticking out so i can inset the top spout straight into the motor. The new one has an extension that is of the same diameter as the spout. So in will not go into each other. The only option i have is to cautiously cut off the little extension from the motor and insert the spout. But i don't want to do it. Lets see if this review is read and the mistake corrected, else I am returning the product.

Good choice for budget minded if you want tio crerate a nice zen space or want to preview a design idea without spending 10-20x more on a fountain. Does the job well. This is outside of my front door amid container plants. Hummingbirds lke it.

From AC to solar fountain - I bought it from Amazon warehouse from half the price ($30) with the intention of converting to solar so this way I could place it anywhere in the backyard. So far I am very pleased with the outcome.

Poor Quality Plastic Water Fountain...doesn't cascade evenly, pump extremely weak trickles - This is one of those products that from the pictures look appealing and theoretically should work nicely. Unfortunately this fountain was not up to par with what was expected. It is made of very cheap flimsy plastic that shifts easily. The pump appears to be among the lowest flow ratings for the size it is. However, I decided to give it a chance and assemble it per the instructions. When screwing the sections together it took several attempts to get the treads to align well to set straight. With a few attempts it can be done. Once Finally all together I plugged the unit in and the very small pump sounded like it was straining to cause the water to flow even though I filled with water first and let sit a few minutes before turning it on. The pump actually sits a bit too high which is a part of the problem as is it needs to be submerged much deeper than it is. Once the water began to trickle it became obvious that the tiers were not level any more so than the basin the water recycles from. No matter how many attempts to level the unit the water would never flow down evenly from the tiers. After an hour of frustration trying to get it leveled I gave up. This is not a good product in my opinion and is not something I would suggest to others to purchase. Hopefully a return will be accepted once I disassemble it especially since I ordered two in different colors for my garden.

Stay away - If you don't have a lot of common sense and mechanical knowledge the instructions make it very difficult to understand how to install the pump. Also it is so warped and out of level. Of course you don't realize this until you have it all put together and you stand it up. To top it off literally there was no finial for the top of the fountain like shown in the pictures. No I would not recommend this to anybody else.

I would not buy again - Because it is plastic I Can’t even get it level on flat ground to get it to work right.
looks and works well, just slightly uneven - Pretty easy to set up. Only complaint is that it doesn’t sit flat. Even the bottom piece is curved so it rocks if you bump into it. Needs to be weighed or nailed down. I put it on my porch balcony, so i can’t use the stakes it came with to stick it in the ground, though i’m sure they would help. Took several minutes and adding more water before it flowed at a good pace, but it ended up really nice. I am planning to glue some of the upper pieces together to make them sit more evenly.

Crooked and Warped !!! Defective Product!!! - Terrible product very crooked. You can tell that it’s warped, probably from them storing it in the factory and sweltering heat very cheaply made would not recommend you buy!!! returning immediately..
Do not recommend - Edit to update: customer service replaced both of my fountains, and now I have happy birds again. This fountain is lightweight, super easy to assemble and looks nice on our patio.

Difficulty with Setup but Works Beautifully - I purchased this birdbath/fountain primarily for my hummingbirds after doing research and finding that the bubbler type of fountains appeal more to the hummingbirds than the types of fountains that spray. This had everything that I wanted and at an affordable price. It sits on my front porch near my hummingbird feeder. Because it is on the porch, which is level ground, having the birdbath/fountain level should not have been an issue, however, the basin on mine does not sit level on its post, even though everything is screwed in correctly, so I had to put something underneath the base on one side to level the basin so that the water would flow correctly. A portion of the pump cord that is attached to the pump is sealed within the basin, and it appears to be longer than needed, so the length of the cord within the basin made it difficult to maneuver and attach the pump securely to the pump housing during setup, but I got it done. After I got everything put together and leveled I added some rocks to the main basin for added weight and to help the smaller birds. Once everything was set up it is working beautifully. It's only been set up for 3 days, and so far only a male cardinal has visited it for a drink of water, but I know it's just a matter of time before the other birds and the hummingbirds find it. I took off one star just because of the difficulty with attaching the pump to the pump housing and because I needed to add something to make it level. But otherwise, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.
water has to be level - I got an Amazon warehouse deal and I'm glad to get this for about half price. After an hour of assembly, I find out the lower tier is off level, so it won't hold as much water, and more importantly it won't splash all around evenly. My only idea of a fix is to shim under the base, but this is for a concrete floor patio and shimming will make it less sturdy. It came out fairly level with three shims under it and was sturdy.
